❋Every lantern within the LaFayette Swamp was placed there. Cornwall had his fortitude tested with every step. Ricky was raised right in the heart of this bayou, shaped by it. The only way to find the lanterns is to push through the darkness for a bit. We know it can be scary, but you are more than strong enough to face these trials.
❋Cornwall stands at the edge of the shadows, lantern raised. This stands as his guiding light, so that you may not face the darkness alone. Stand beside him or follow behind as he walks with you and helps you navigate The LaFayette Swamp and life. The other LaFayettes stand at the edge of the darkness, waiting for you to step too far out. Stay within the light, respect their swamp, and you will find yourself among a mythical place that we call home.
❋You have a light inside you as well. It isn’t a magical lantern that provides the light and casts a divine protection. The other swampkin never needed the light. They struggled through the waters abundant in duckweed and oversized gators. behind Every challenge, obstacle, or unexpected ambush is a chance to burn brighter. it will burn, but you will be tougher and more calloused. Don’t fear life. Don’t fear being yourself. Don’t fear shining your light in the eyes of every single person who stands against you. Raise your lantern, look them dead in the eye, and give them a headbutt.
