the fragments of felix

On the world of Damatus, life once thrived under the quiet guidance of ancient celestial artifacts known as the orbs — vessels of essence that shaped memory, unity, and the fragile hope that held humanity together. Their influence was subtle, woven into the rhythm of everyday life, felt more than understood. And for generations, it was enough.

Until it wasn’t.

As humanity drifted farther from the orbs’ reach, something in the world began to fracture. Families splintered. Cities turned inward. Violence crept into places once filled with celebration. Whispers of forgotten gods and false idols spread across the land, and the guardian who once watched over Damatus withdrew behind the sealed gates of his castle, leaving the world to unravel.

Amoranth has grown up in the remnants of that fading light — one of the few who still feels the faint pull of something better, something older. When a strange fragment stirs in his hands, awakening a clarity no one else seems to possess, he becomes a target in a world slipping toward desperation. Pursued by those who fear him, and drawn toward the castle that has remained silent for years, he discovers that the truth behind Damatus’s decline is far more tangled than rumor and far more dangerous than neglect.

Within those walls lie answers to the world’s unraveling — and to the power humming in his pocket. But every revelation carries a cost, and every step closer to the truth threatens to expose something Damatus may not be ready to face.

Some fragments mend. Some corrupt. And some were never meant to be found.

Great White Horse

Hector and Ramiro grew up in the kind of childhood that feels untouchable — summers spent at the pool, the jingle of the ice cream truck echoing through their neighborhood, and a home held together by their mother’s warmth. But when a freak accident shatters their family, the brothers are forced to grow up fast. They are left navigating grief, poverty, and a father who can no longer carry the weight of what’s left.

Years later, searching for comfort in familiar places, the brothers return to the ice cream truck. only to discover it’s become something far darker than the one they remember. What begins as a desperate attempt to survive pulls them into a world of addiction, danger, and choices no child should ever face.

As Hector struggles to hold onto the memory of who they once were, he must confront the truth about the world around him — and decide whether he will be shaped by the violence he’s inherited or by the hope his family left behind.

Great White Horse is a story of brotherhood, loss, and the quiet resilience required to survive when innocence is stolen too soon. It’s not about heroes. It’s about the ones who keep going anyway.
