Meet The Family
A colorful digital illustration of a lantern with a flame inside, set against a vibrant abstract background with streaks of neon colors.

The LaFayette swamp didn’t run on rules or maps — it runs on two silent men who never stop working… even when no one’s around to see it. Cornwall LaFayette keeps the lantern routes alive, the walkways stable, and the swampkin close to safety. Ricky LaFayette keeps the swamp itself in line, making sure the bog doesn’t swallow anyone who wanders too far from the light. They didn’t know each other before Cornwall arrived, but once the swamp welcomed him and Ricky recognized that acceptance, the two of them fell into a rhythm that holds the entire place together.

Most visitors come and go, but the swampkin remain. day by day and night by night, follow this disorganized bunch as they maintain the most dangerous place on the planet. wait… that’s not right. the most dangerous place in the universe.

The swamp may have many characters, but Cornwall hosts the lantern feasts, the midnight bog walks, the mask‑voting parties. He crafts each mask and decorates the bog. Dymora tends the life within the swamp, worm squirms and sturggles her way to each exorcism, candy man handles the legal disputes, cyrus hunts the obnoxious, Cornwall protects people from the swamp, Ricky protects the swamp from people, And Cornwall - more often than he admits - protects people from Ricky. diablogoblo does… whatever it is that he does. the LaFayette swamp would fall apart the moment the lanterns went dark, but the LaFayette family would lose their light without each other.
